Dr. Krauss's Retirement Letter

To My Dear Patients:

As you may or may not know, I recently suffered a heart attack while on vacation with my family in
Florida. I was extremely blessed to receive prompt and excellent medical care. Given sufficient time
and effort, I hope to make a full recovery.

However, because of this setback and after 42 years in practice I’ve made the difficult decision to retire.
Although difficult, I can do this with peace of mind because I have every confidence that Dr. Harris and
Dr. Ngo with whom I’ve been practicing can expertly and seamlessly continue your care in my absence.
Each has over 9 years’ experience in full-time practice and is deeply committed to giving their patients
the upmost level of personal attention and care. If you currently have an appointment scheduled to see
me in the near future, our front desk will be contacting you to reschedule with one of the other doctors.
I apologize for any inconvenience.

This transition is bitter-sweet for me on a personal level as interacting with my patients and the office
staff on a daily basis has been a significant and deeply rewarding part of my life. I will miss it very much.
My dedicated assistant of 37 years, Veronica, will also be retiring. I couldn’t have asked for a more loyal
and capable person with whom to work in caring for our patients. I know from your feedback over the
years that you think as highly of her as I do.

Thank you for the trust you placed in us over the years. I wish you all the very best.
Hank Krauss
